Season One
2. Family Secrets
ˇ At the end of the episode when Renee (Ashlee Levitch) is singing, you can tell they recorded the sound at a different time as the lips and the words of the song do not match up in spots. Ashlee Levitch sung although it was most likely recorded on a sound stage.
5. The Color of God
ˇ In this episode we see that the Camdens' church has a balcony where people enter in the beginning of the episode. It is only shown in one other episode, "The Known Soldier".
6. Halloween
ˇ NITPICK: What are the chances that two people that went to Binghamton Elementary School (which I am assuming is in New York), live in Glen Oak, CA when they are in their adult life.
7. Saturday
ˇ The picture of the outside of the Camden kids high school is a lot different than from later episodes when the kids are at school.
ˇ In this episode, it is said that Mary is the ONLY freshman on the varsity team. Corey Conway is on the team and is mean to Mary because she is a younger freshman. Yet in the episode "With Honors," Corey is a senior along with Mary. (This is when Mary shares her sports award with Corey.) So Corey should have graduated already! The show obviously aged Corey slower so that she wouldn't graduate before Mary in order to fit her into the plot.
9. See No Evil, Hear No Evil, Speak No Evil
ˇ In the first scene, Simon asked Ruthie to hold her breath while he grabbed something from the room. When she finally agreed, she stood up and faced Simon's back while the camera focused on him (and she was out of the shot). When we see Ruthie at the table again, she was sitting down, took a breath, and then stood up.
11. Now You See Me
ˇ Annie finds Tia asleep in the car but the next morning when Annie is talking to Matt she says that Eric found her in the car.
ˇ When Matt and Lucy are in the gym right after he finishes with the "Be self-confident" speech, Lucy trips over her shoelaces on hardwood floor. In the next shot, she fell down on the gym mats.
12. With a Little Help From My Friends
ˇ In this episode, Lucy celebrates her 13th birthday, which would mean she was born in 1984. Although in later episodes, her birthday is clarified to be in 1983. In "I Really Do"(2002), Matt says she is 19. In "Just You Wait and See", her Date of Birth was listed as 1983.
18. Faith, Hope, and the Bottom Line
ˇ When Simon locks his bedroom door, Matts room has a door to the side, that Matt and Mary had to go thru to get him out.
20. Say Good-bye
ˇ In this episode, when Annie is making lunch for Lucy and her friend the bags are light blue with decals on them. But, when Lucy hands her friend the lunch, the bag is blue but does not contain decals.
Season Two
24. See You In September
ˇ In your freshman year at high school you would not expect to get as many textbooks on the 1st day of school as Lucy has in this episode.
38. It Takes a Village
ˇ Why would "Looney Toons" be in a movie theatre especially if it wasn't a movie?
ˇ In this episode we see the Hamilton family talking in the kitchen. Although, the kitchen is completely different from the kitchen that the Hamilton family was being shown in, in the episode "The Color of God" last season. Either they moved from their old house from last season based on the threats of being killed in that episode or the 7th Heaven crew just built a new set for the house.
ˇ Would a simple Loony Toons cartoon have such a large audience at a movie theater?
41. Time to Leave the Nest
ˇ In this episode, Annie tells Lucy she was conceived on Valentine's Day, which would mean she was due in November. In the episode "Just You Wait and See", on Lucy's license, her birthday appears as January 22, 1983. In the episode "With A Little Help from My Friends", Lucy celebrates her birthday on January 13. How can that be?
42. Like a Harlot
ˇ Normally the girls corsage goes on her wrist not on her chest.
Season Three
47. Cutters
ˇ When Mary is on her way to the bathroom, the door is closed, meanwhile Nicole (Allison Mack) is cutting herself. If the door is closed, don't you think that Mary would have knocked on the closed bathroom door before opening it? One of her brothers could have been in there or her mom.
48. The Legacy
ˇ In Anything You Want, Annie says her pregnancy projects were, electrical and plumbing with Mary, and ethnic cooking with Simon. In The Legacy, Annie says her pregnancy projects were just plumbing with Mary and electricity with Lucy. Eric had thought that it was electrical with Mary and plumbing with Lucy, and Annie specifically told him the opposite.
53. Lets Talk About Sex
ˇ Annie and her two teens who are pregnant are dancing to a song. Annie introduces Mary and Lucy to her friends. Lucy says, "I'm 14, and Mary is 15." Then, later on in the episode, Lucy gave Matt and idea for her project. Lucy gets upset at Matt and says, "I'm not a baby anymore! I'm 15, I'm practically a grown woman!" According to her license in Just You Wait and See she would be 15 at the time of this airing.
54. Here Comes Santa Claus
ˇ Mary's voice doesn't match up with her mouth when she is on the phone with the operator
ˇ When they exchange gifts at the end of the episode the picture of Ruthie on Matt's lap is different from the picture shown earlier in the episode.
55. Nobody Knows(a.k.a. Nobody Knows The Trouble)
ˇ When Eric and Annie are talking about Julie (its the 2nd to last scene) in the foyer and Eric says "Does Julie have anything to do with you not wanting to be anywhere near me today?" If you watch Annie, she moves different ways when the camera is behind her and facing Eric, but when its actually on her, shes doing something else, usually its her head tilted to the other side.
ˇ At the beginning of the episode you can tell they cut out some lines; Mary says "Those two should be locked up." and Lucy says "but not together" and then you would think there would be some more lines because Mary says "Ugh, just drop it, the whole subject is making me queasy."
58. In Praise of Women
ˇ At the end of the episode, the whole family is in the hospital room and they brought two cupcakes and two birthday hats. Mary separates the two hats and places them on the bed tray next to the cupcakes, which Matt lights. Then there is a shot of Annie and Eric smiling, and then back to Mary, who again separates the two hats and puts them on the tray.
66. There Goes the Bride
ˇ In this episode Annie says "It was this time last year, I told you their would be two more Camdens", although at this time the year before, it was only known they were going to have one baby.
Season Four
68. Life is Too Good
ˇ When Annie and Matt are talking in the kitchen at the beginning of the episode, Matt walks in carrying the twins. The one on his right shoulder is laying against him asleep. Then when they do a close-up, that twin is awake. But then when they go back to the other view, that twin is asleep again.
69. Yak Sada(a.k.a. One Voice)
ˇ NITPICK: Annie should NOT have let Sam and David alone in their room while they were drinking from their bottles.
ˇ At the beginning of the show when Eric is sitting in his living room with the twins and is counseling a couple, the man is leaning back on the couch with his left arm resting on the back of the couch around his fiancé. Then he pulls his arm back to his lap and leans forward to talk to Eric. In the next scene, when they zoom in on the young lady, you see his arm behind her again, but when they move back to him, he's still leaning forward with his arms in his lap.
70. Come Drive With Me
ˇ In the scene where Eric and Annie are upstairs talking about the raise, Eric comes from the room and the door is open, but when Eric and Annie are talking, the door is closed when the camera is on Eric, then after it is open again.
77. Forget Me Not
ˇ When Annie is talking to Ginger and folding clothes she has a necklace on in close-ups of just her, but when Ginger is included, she does not have the necklace.
80. Words
ˇ When Simon is playing Tetris on the Game Boy, the images don't match the music.
ˇ When Lucy and Mary are talking in the attic, Lucy says "Now that we actually do share a room.." yet they've shared a room since the beginning of the show even before they moved to the attic.
81. Loves Me, Love Me Not
ˇ When Mary confess to her parents what happened between her and Robbie she cries and her eyes are red but when they go upstairs to see what Ruthie prepared for the twins she doesn't seem like crying.
Season Five
90. Help
ˇ In the beginning of the episode when the Camden kids walk in the kitchen, the door slams behind them. In the next shot they show Ruthie with the door still closing but there is no sound. Probably special effects did that.
94. Broke
ˇ During the middle of the episode, while the kids are trying to figure out when Annie will be putting the money into the bank next, Simon says it is the sixth, this episode originally aired on November 6, 2000, it was a Monday which would mean that Simon, Lucy, and Ruthie should have been at school.
100. One Hundred(a.k.a. Erics Birthday)
ˇ At the end of the show when Eric walks in the door and the family surprises him, he opens the door but never reaches back to close it, and we never hear it close either. Later, they all go into the living room for the party... this was in January with the door open--- it must've been a "cool" party.
101. The Kiss
ˇ When Matt is talking to Eric, there is something in his hair.
102. V-Day
ˇ In the beginning of the episode when the Camden kids are standing in the upstairs hallway, you can see a boom microphone on top of the screen recording their dialog. I guess the boom was too low or the camera was raised too high.
104. Parents
ˇ When Annie is in the kitchen getting coffee and cookies for Eric and Robbie's dad, Annie leaves the room without the coffee, but when she enters the living room she has the coffee.
Season Six
111. Changes
ˇ At the middle of the show, Annie and Eric are debating about Decaf coffee. Matt walks in and doesnt shut the door. Somehow in the next clip that includes the door, it is closed.
112. Teased
ˇ In the middle of the episode when Ruthie is mad at Robbie, Simon is at school. Shouldn't Ruthie be at school rather than at home.
115. Relationships
ˇ NITPICK: When Annie was teaching in school she dismissed her class on her own. In junior-high school you would think there is a bell to dismiss classes but in a private school like Ruthie's, the teachers can dismiss the class.
116. Broken
ˇ NITPICK: This episode was dedicated in the memory of Jonathon Levin's father who passed away, but Jonathon is not affiliated with the show. He is the consulting producer of the WB's "Charmed". He is not listed as part of 7th Heaven's crew or staff. So, why would 7th Heaven dedicate this episode to his father?
ˇ In this episode we see Mary leaving Wilson's apartment by taking the elevator and going downstairs. But in episode "Pathetic" we see an outside close-up of Wilson's apartment windows that is on the 1st floor. So, why is Mary taking the elevator when Wilson's apartment is SUPPOSEDLY on the 1st floor.
117. Prodigal
ˇ For some reason when Eric & Annie were talking about Richard Nixon, they kept on referring him in the present tense, even though he has been dead for years.
ˇ When Mary approaches Lucy and Ruthie in the bedroom, she walks in through the closet. When Mary leaves, she leaves through the closet, which you can clearly see the hangers and clothes. Since when do you enter and leave a room through the closet?
118. Ay Curumba
ˇ In the previous episode, Ruthie wears a green looking sweater/pullover with a white collar hanging out from beneath it to church. In the opening of this episode, after they arrive from church, when Ruthie is dancing with Joy, she is wearing a colorful shirt. Annie asks her and the others to report to the garage apartment, and when she is in there, she is wearing the green sweater/pullover with the white collar hanging out. If she changed before, why would she back into what she wore to church, but she did not have anytime to change back into it.
120. Consideration
ˇ When Charles and Ginger came the pot was not steaming until Annie started to pour it.
121. Pathetic
ˇ In this episode we see a close-up of Wilson's apartment building. The picture looked like it was taken in the spring with the trees still green, but in January Buffalo is very cold with a lot of snow. It's not possible for this to happen with Buffalo's kind of weather.
122. Suspicion
ˇ At the end of the episode when the Camden family is talking to Ms. McKool, Ms. Riddle and their neighbors at the front door, there is NO wreath on the door. Then, when they go outside and when Lucy and Mary close the door behind them, there IS NOW a wreath on the door
123. Drunk(a.k.a. A Camden Out of Control)
ˇ When Simon was throwing up in Matt's car (away from the camera), it sounded more like water was being spilled.
124. Hot Pants
ˇ Remember in the two-part finale, Chances...where, Lucy and Jeremy got engaged, and when she thought he had "adult relations" with Mary, she went to talk to Mike Pierce, who has broken up with Alana because he was in love with Lucy and wanted to be with her, that was only about 8 months ago, and in Hot Pants, Mike says he has been in a relationship for a year, which can't be true at all. And Lucy and Jeremy's first date was on Valentine's Day last year, when they kept running into her old boyfriends, and Mike has just started going out with Alana then. So, it's impossible.
ˇ In episode 102: V-Day, Annie decides that every Valentine's Day the twins and her will watch the videos of her mom and the kids, although you do not see that in this episode. It may happen, but it is not included in the episode.
ˇ When the Camden family is in the dining room celebrating Sam and David's birthday, when Annie goes to kiss Eric-- the kitchen door is open. In the next shot the door is closed. Nobody came in or out of the kitchen at the time and the door is now closed.
126. I Really Did
ˇ It was said in this episode that the only time Matt had stayed out all night was in "Breaking up is Hard to Do", when he went to Philadelphia after Heather. Although, in "Family Secrets" he stayed out all night without calling when he was at Renee's house.
ˇ At the end of the episode while Ruthie is talking to Matt she says the nine-years of medical school that Matt and Sarah will be away from home, it would really only be five additional years as four years is counted as the years of pre-med.
127. Lip Service
ˇ When Annie is cooking in the kitchen and pulls out food from the oven, it's strange to see that there's no steam coming out of the uncovered food.
128. The Ring
ˇ The last name that appears in closed caption is, "Kinkirk", which is different from that which appears on Kevin's badge "Kinkork".
ˇ When Kevin said that his last name was "Kinkirk" wouldn't Mary have known that was Ben's last name?
129. Letting Go
ˇ At the end of the episode while Matt an Sarah are looking at photo albums, Sarah has a Hello Kitty pillow on her lap. But, when the camera angle changes the pillow is not there.
ˇ When Mary and Ben are kissing in the first scene, Mary puts her cell phone on Ben's right shouldernext time the camera is on themit's not on his shoulders anymore.
132. Holy War [2] (a.k.a. The Wedding)
ˇ When Ben gave Mary his class ring, it fit Mary just perfectly. Shouldn't it be a little big on her, because I doubt that Ben's fingers are that small.
Season Seven
134. Monkey Business [2]
ˇ If Mary drove off with the car she cannot leave it at the airport the entire time she is in Florida, and the car does not go back to the Camdens'--so where does she leave the car?
135. The Enemy Within
ˇ In this episode it was acknowledged several times that the Camdens only have one phone line in their house. But in the episode "No Sex, Some Drugs and a Little Rock 'n' Roll" and in later episodes in the 3rd season Annie and Eric acknowledged that they got a second phone line due to the arrival of the new babies and more people calling. I doubt they changed their minds.
136. Bowling For Eric
ˇ NIPTICK: In "Monkey Business (2)" Simon tells Robbie that he's a GREAT bowler when escorting his dates. Well, in this episode when the family goes bowling he didn't seem so GREAT as he kept throwing gutter balls and tossing his bowling ball in the other lane.
137. The Heart of the Matter
ˇ NITPICK: It's really hard to believe that Hank, Julie, "The Colonel", Grandma Ruth nor George wouldn't be there if Eric is having heart surgery. They see him for many other reasons, but not for heart surgery?
ˇ When Lucy told Robbie that she was ready to marry Kevin, Robbie went and called Kevin at work to tell him. Annie said that Kevin worked the day shift so he could sit with her at night. Now if Lucy didn't know that Robbie called Kevin and made him get the rest of the day off, why did she say she has been looking for him all over the hospital?
139. Gabrielle Come Blow Your Horn
ˇ NITPICK: Would Eric really be smoking, drinking alcohol and yelling less than a month after he had surgery?
ˇ Eric had an associate pastor in the past, Tom Harrison, and he was a good friend of the Camdens in the episode Choices, why do they get all wound up over Chandler.
140. Peer Pressure
ˇ When Lucy runs into the house after talking to Kevin, she leaves her school books out on the porch where she left them. She never goes back to get them.
141. Lost Souls
ˇ When Ruthie is talking on the phone with Kevin she isn't talking into the receiver which would not allow what she said to be heard by Kevin.
ˇ If Eric were to leave the church wouldn't that mean the Camdens would lose their house, wouldn't that be a larger concern of theirs?
142. A Cry For Help(a.k.a. Female Trouble)
ˇ At the beginning of the episode when Eric is looking for Annie he goes upstairs, then Annie and the twins talk for about 20 seconds, he then comes in through the other door. Is it possible that he could have gone upstairs and checked for Annie upstairs and gotten back downstairs in that amount of time?
ˇ It's weird how last week Robbie was taking a mid-term and how this week he was able to work far enough ahead to take his finals early.
ˇ When Ruthie gave Sam and David ice cream cones from the refrigerator, she took them out completely unwrapped or at least not in a box and just handed it to them. Not too sanitary or at least normal.
143. Sunday
ˇ In "A Cry For Help", Annie said that Robbie would be back after Christmas, and it was over a week after Christmas and Robbie was not back or mentioned at all.
ˇ When Annie was reading Eric's novel, as she sits down on the bed, she turns two pages and then continues to read.
ˇ When Kevin, Eric, Peter, and the twins were watching the game, Peter offered to get Kevin a soda. He gets up and never comes back, it doesn't seem like it would take that long just to get a soda.
144. Back in the Saddle Again
ˇ Wouldn't someone at the barn be supervising Ruthie and Katelyn while they were riding their horses? It's unlikely that anyone would let two pre-teen girls wander off with expensive horses across the barn without any adult supervision.
ˇ Did they leave something out? They never mentioned why Cheryl wanted to see Reverend Camden.
